Event Photography Cost in Singapore (2026): Prices, Hours & What’s Included

Most event photography quotes in Singapore look similar until you check what is inside them. One quote excludes editing; another caps the number of photos; a third adds 9% GST at invoice. This guide sets out what event photography costs in Singapore in 2026, how to work out the hours your event actually needs, and what to check before you sign.

The figures below are iSnap Photography’s published rates. iSnap has covered 500+ events in Singapore, from 2-hour press launches to full-day conferences.

Quick answer

  • Short events (seminar, networking session, press launch) — 2 hours: $300 nett.
  • Evening events (dinner and dance, award night, product launch) — 4 hours: $600 nett.
  • Full-day events (conference, AGM, multi-session programme) — 8 hours: $1,200 nett.
  • Additional hours — $150 nett each. The hourly rate is the same whether you book 2 hours or 8.
  • Every booking includes one professional photographer, unlimited photos, colour and brightness enhancement, a social media set within 24 hours and the full gallery by cloud download within 2 weeks.

Event photography prices by event type

Coverage is billed by the hour at $150, with a 2-hour minimum. These are the bookings that fit the most common Singapore corporate events:

Event type Typical programme Coverage to book Price (nett)
Press launch / networking session Registration, short talk, mingling 2 hours $300
Seminar / half-day workshop Registration, 2–3 speakers, Q&A, group photo 3 hours $450
Dinner and dance Cocktails 6.30pm to close 10.30pm 4 hours $600
Company family day Morning games, lunch, prize presentation 4 hours $600
Gala with VIP arrivals VIP arrival, cocktails, dinner, awards 5 hours $750
Conference / AGM Full day, plenary plus breakouts 8 hours $1,200
Two-day conference 8 hours each day 16 hours $2,400

All figures are hours × $150. iSnap Photography is not GST-registered, so the nett price is the final price.

How to work out how many hours you need

The most common mistake is booking the programme length rather than the photography length. Three rules keep the quote accurate:

  1. Start the clock at the first moment you want captured, not the first speech. If guests arrive at 6.30pm and the emcee opens at 7.30pm, the arrivals, the backdrop photos and the cocktail hour are an hour of your best candid material.
  2. Add the group photo. A full-team photo on stage or outside the venue takes 15–20 minutes once you include gathering everyone. Schedule it inside your coverage, ideally before dinner when everyone is still fresh.
  3. Cover the segment that matters most to the organiser. For HR teams that is usually the awards or long-service presentation. If that segment runs late, the photographer needs to still be on the clock.

Worked example: a D&D runs 6.30pm cocktails to 10.30pm close — 4 hours, $600. Management wants their 6pm arrival photographed as well, so coverage starts at 6pm: 4.5 hours of event, booked as 5 hours, $750. If the programme overruns on the night, extra time is $150 an hour, subject to the photographer’s availability.

What actually changes the price

Hours on site

This is the main cost driver and the one you control. Book the hours you need, not a vague “half day”.

Number of photographers

One photographer covers most events up to a few hundred guests in a single room. A second photographer makes sense when sessions run in parallel, when you need stage and audience covered at the same moment, or when a photo wall and the main hall both need coverage. Second-photographer coverage is quoted on request.

Adding videography

Event videography is billed separately at $200 an hour: $400 for 2 hours, $800 for 4 hours, $1,600 for 8 hours, delivered as a cinematic highlight reel. See event videography packages.

Adding a photo booth

An instant photo booth with unlimited prints starts at $600 for 3 hours and gives guests something to take home. Booking photography, videography and a booth from one team means one point of contact and one consistent look. See photo booth rental.

Cheap quote vs professional quote: what to compare

Freelance listings in Singapore often advertise a lower hourly rate. That rate can be fine for a casual birthday party; for a corporate event where the photos will be used in annual reports, LinkedIn posts and next year’s invitation, compare these six points line by line:

Check Why it matters iSnap
Is editing included? Unedited files are rarely usable for corporate communications Colour and brightness enhanced, included
Is there a photo cap? A 50-photo limit misses most of your attendees Unlimited photos
How fast is delivery? Your comms team wants a post up the next morning Social set in 24 hours, full gallery in 2 weeks
Is the price nett or + GST? A 9% difference on the invoice Nett, not GST-registered
Corporate experience? Knowing when the CEO walks on stage is a skill 500+ events covered
Can you see a full gallery? A portfolio of 10 best shots hides inconsistency Ask us for a full event gallery

How to keep the cost down without losing coverage

  • Cluster the key moments. If awards, speeches and the group photo fall within the same 2–3 hours, you do not need the photographer for the whole evening.
  • Use the 24-hour social set. It covers your next-day LinkedIn and intranet post without paying for rush editing.
  • Book early for November and December. D&D season fills the calendar first. Use the dinner and dance photography checklist to brief the photographer.
  • Get one quote for everything. Photography, videography and a booth from one supplier removes coordination time on the day.
